Sometimes the best things come in threes! Pianist and conductor Ralf Gothoni, principal conductor of the English Chamber Orchestra from 2000-2009 directs re:Sound in a performance of Beethoven’s Triple Concerto, joined by violinist Mark Gothoni and cellist Yuko Miyagawa.
Mark Gothoni, who has led the Zurich and Munich Chamber Orchestras and was the leader and musical director of the European Union Chamber Orchestra from 2004-2008 will lead J.S. Bach’s Brandenburg Concerto no.3, written for a unique combination of three violins, three violas and three cellos.
The third work on the programme is Mozart’s Symphony no. 29, a joyful, inventive work written by an 18 year-old genius.
