A Smorgasbord of Delights for Small String Groups
From the time Joseph Haydn wrote his ground-breaking quartets, in which four players performed as equals, almost every great composer from Mozart to Shostakovich has written music in this form. But there are also many wonderful works for smaller and larger string groups, each with its own charm and attraction. In this concert, musicians from Resound Collective, Singapore’s leading chamber music assembly, bring you a sumptuous selection of this music by Haydn, Mozart, Mendelssohn and Borodin.
