SYNOPSIS
As part of Resound Collective’s 10th Anniversary, we are proud to announce the Dennis Lee Piano Series (DLPS), a new piano series that showcases our rich pool of local pianists, in concert with the country’s top chamber orchestra. The series is named after the late Penang-born pianist Dennis Lee (1946-2023), a highly respected Malaysian/Singaporean pianist, teacher, and chamber music advocate.
The inaugural concert on 11th July 2026 at the Yong Siew Toh Conservatory of Music Concert Hall features two popular piano concertos – Beethoven’s Third and Fourth Piano Concertos – with brilliant young soloists Abigail Sin and Lin Xiangning performing with re:Sound, led by Yang Shuxiang. The bold programme includes a reprise of Stravinsky’s iconic Concerto for Strings, from re:Sound’s very first concert in August 2016.
PROGRAMME
Beethoven
Piano Concerto no. 3 in C Minor (Soloist Abigail Sin)
Stravinsky
Concerto for Strings in D
Beethoven
Piano Concerto no. 4 in G Major (Soloist Lin Xiangning)

Supporting the Collective for a Stronger Society
re:Sound is proud to support the Collective for a Stronger Society (CSS), a multi-year initiative spearheaded by Community Foundation of Singapore (CFS) that brings together public, private, and community partners to strengthen outcomes for families with children living in rental flats and facing complex challenges.
CSS works by aligning efforts across sectors to support families in meaningful, coordinated ways, recognising that complex challenges require shared responsibility and long-term commitment.
As a collective of musicians, re:Sound believes that shared cultural experiences play an important role in fostering connection, dignity, and social cohesion, and will be donating tickets to CSS’ donors and beneficiaries to attend the concert.
You too can be part of this collective effort.
